Prevenient Grace
The seventh Article of Faith of the Church of the Nazarene states the denomination's position on Prevenient Grace. Prevenient Grace is the grace that goes before salvation, bestowed on all people. While the Calvinistic idea of common grace bears some resemblance to the Wesleyan idea of prevenient grace, the two also have some key differences. These will not be explored in this article. Rather, we will focus on exploring the Church of the Nazarene's Article of Faith on Prevenient Grace.
