Ministering During The Pandemic: Encourage The Persecuted

Hey everyone. This is the first post in a (planned) series about how you can minister in the midst of a pandemic. As we all know by now, people are suffering all around the world. This includes our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ. Many of these believers were already undergoing persecution, and the pandemic has just made things more difficult. Fortunately, there is a way that you and I can help these believers, even if it is something that seems small. Open Doors USA can help us provide notes of encouragement to persecuted believers around the world. Paul wrote that when one member of the body suffers, we all suffer (1 Corinthians 12:26), and the author of Hebrews tells us to let brotherly love continue (Hebrews 13:1). You can look here to find a list of our persecuted brethren who need a word of encouragement. If you can spare a few minutes, write them a letter. It may seem like something small, but to them, it may be something big.
